Tho winners and the Canadian crow were practically level at three-quarters of a milo. Then the Australians forged ahead, and led nt the milo by half a length. Rowing splendidly together, and showing great power, they won by a length and a quarter. Time, 7min. 4soc. (Rec. July 5, 10.30 p.m.) London, July 5. Tho Canadians, starting with 46 strokes to the Australian's 40, led at the quartermile, but the Australians, without increasing their rate, were level at tho half-mile.
