WOLGAST DEFEATS RIVERS. EIGHT ENDS IN A RIOT. By ToleEraph-Press Association-Copyright Mew.York, July i. Fighting at Los Angeles yosterday, Ad Wolgast, light-weight champion of the world, beat "Joe" Rivers in the thirteenth round of a twenty-round bout on a foul. (Reo. July 5, 10,45 p.m.) New York, July 5. In the Wolgast-Rivers fight, both men were sprawled on the floor, and the referee, Mr. Welch, counted Rivers out. On the announcement of tho decision bedlam was unloosed. There were many fights among tho ten thousand spectators, and the police were powerless to restore order for half an hour. The Teferea disappeared immediately he announced his decision.
