Brother Basil, Principal of the Maml Brothers' School, urged that assistance should bo given to allow Catholic children to benefit by the secondary and technical education facilities affordsd State school children. Evidence was also Riven bv Mr. Trimble (chnirmnn of the Taranaki Education Board) and Jlr. Win. Bruce (chairman of the Wangaiiui School Committee and Wanganui Schools Committees' Association).
