(From Our Special Correspondent.) Masterton, July 3. Everything is .now in readiness for tho opening of the annual competitions next week in connection with tho Masterton Competitions Society. Competitors will be present from l'almerston, Wellington, Napier, ChristcliurclH and other parts of the Dominion. An art exhibition will form a pleasing Adjunct to tho competitions. Mr. C. N. Baeycrtz will again act as judge of tho elocutionary division, while Sir. X. Gregson, of Auckland, will adjudicate on the music.
