Tho Labour party's ultimatum has caused much ill-feeling amongst Liberals, particularly as it comes just after a number of Ministers and Liberals had supported Mr. O'Grady's motion on Monday in connection with tho transport striko. Tho Liberals adopted Mr. R. Louth-w.-vito as Mioir candidate for Tlanley. The Labour party has decided to support an independent Labonr candidate.
