DISCONTENT IN THE. UNION. It is stated that there exists in the ranks of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union grave discontent ever recent actions of the Federation of Labour, to which organisation they are allied, and that an attempt will shortly bo made by a section, of the members to secede from that body, with the object of joining the United Labour rarty. Tliis teeling was evidenced by the recent action of certain members of the union in subscribing towards a- donation for the pianist ut . Waihi picture show, who was obliged to give up her employment on it being intimated that her continuing in tho position was distasteful to tlio strikers. This, it is stated, may bo followed bv an open movement lor secession irom the Federation. ■
