OBITUARY.
AUSTRALIAN EX-MINISTER. Br Telegraph—Preps AeEociation—Copyrfsrht (Rec. July 2, 10 p.m.) Perth, July 2. Tho death is announced of tho Hon. F. H! Piesse, C.M.G., M.L.A., ft former State Minister for Railways. The late Mr. Piesse was a well-known Perth merchant. Ho was born in 1853 in Wost Australia, and entered Parliamentary life as a member of the first Parliament of West Australia in 1890. .He was Minister for Railways under Sir John Forrest from 189G to 1900. In 1901 he became Leader of tho Opposition.
A BRITISH M.P. London, July 1. The death is announced of Sir. Walter S. B. M'Laren, M.P. for thq Crowo Division of Cheshire, aged 59. / Mr. M'Laren was a nephew of John Bright. He was a director of a great Middlesborongh woollen firm. In politics he was a Liberal and Freetrader, and an advocate of woman suffrage. PRIME MINISTER OF SERVIA. Belgrade, July 2. Dr. M. D. Milovanovitch, who has been Premier of Sorvia dnco July, 1911, is dead.
