Land exceeding tho unimproved value of ~£20,000 is held in New Zealand by 668 persons and companies. The names of these landowners wore 6tated' in a Teturu presented to Parliament yesterday. It refers to both urban and rural lands, and 6hows that tho number of estates exceeding the valuo of .£30,000, at which point it is proposed tho graduated land tax should bo increased, is 320.
