Mr. A. S. Biss:_ "Besides, it would cut out Palnierston North, the best town on tho lino, and tho junction with tho Wairnrapa and Hawko's Bay. They'll never cut out Palmei'ston. Tho Main Trunk lino will novcr pass by Palmci'ston." '
