Hughes, AttorneyGeneral, hinted at the probability of some of the 'defendants in tho Coal Vend case not joining in the proposed appeal. Inquiry in well-informed circles indicates that Mr. Hughes J s belief is well- ' founded, and that it is probable that the colliery owners will not bo represented in the appeal.
