A Sydney syndicate has purchased from two French planters 03,000 acres in the New Hebrides, situated in tho islands of Maivo, Efate, Espiritu Santo, and A pi. The lands are njostly coconut lands, valued at over a quarter of a million pounds. An immediate slart will be made to develop the properties. 1 Another property of 2500 acres has been purchased by a Sydney firm on the Island of Ambryn; at a cost of ,£OOOO.
