OTAKI NOTES.
No football was played here on Saturday owing to Hui Mai forfeiting. .Tho Tainui juniors were rather badly beaten at Levin by Kopntorca, while Waitolm failed, at the eloventh hour, to raiso a team. At the Druids' shooting tournament, Mr. Frank Howell proved tho winner of the trophy, Mr. E. Lanchester being second. .A quoits tournament is now to bo held. After a brief sojourn in Rotorua and Auckland, Mr. W. M'Kegg has returned to Otaki. Mr. and Mrs. Bacchus (from this district) aro among the latest visitors to the thermal regions, in the Auckland prorace.
