The land in which Mr. Harper's crop was grown was ploughed once, disced twice, harrowed twice, and rolled once. Eight and a half ounces of Elephant seed were sown, and ljcwt. of Perrv's special swede manure used.

Mr. AV. Cameron's No. 1 crop was ploughed t,rice, disced three times, harrowed four times, and rolled once. The seed sown was 9oz. of Elephant variety, 2cwt. of Perry's special swedo manure being used. •Mr. AY. J. AVelch ploughed his land once, disced it twice, harrowed it three times, and rolled it once, using Ifloz. of Champion seed and 2twt. of Perry's special swede manure.

Mr. R. J. Dagg had his land ploughed once, disced once, harrowed twice, and rolled once. He sowed lOoz. of Elephant seed aud used 2cwt. of Perry's special swede manure.

Mr. 11.- Fallonn's land was ploughed twice, disced once, harrowed and rolled twice. He used Elephant seed and 2cwt. of Fison's turnip fertiliser. • Mr. W. Cameron ploughed bis No. 2 crop land twice, disced it three times, harrowed it four times, and rolled it: once. Nino ounces of Elephant seed and 2cwt. of Waingawa turnip mixture were used..
