Counsel for the Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne, in his libel action against a weekly newspaper called "Truth," in concluding his address, claimed ttat the defendant deliberately, falsely, and maliciously put on record the statement that the plaintiff, in exercising his veto in regard to Canon Nash, did so without honestly investigating the charges and acted with a preconceived'determination to deprive! Canon Nosh'of' liis' position.''
\ The Archbishop made a long statement in th 6 box,* reviewing the whole facts and showing' that 1 he ~ inquiries into the' allegations against Canon Nash whoin he consulted and advised, Canon Nash agreeing to tho suggestion that lie Should submit tho case to the Cathedral Chapter.
