THE POULTRY SHOW,

CLOSE OF THE THIRTIETH EXHIBITION. Tho thirtieth annual show of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society, which lias been in progress at St. Peter's Schoolroom for the past threo days, was brought to a close yesterday evening. A largo number of visitors inspected tho birds during the show, although the wet weather on the first two days no doubt affected the attendances. There is absolutely no reason why daiTy farming should be one long grind in these days of labour and time-saving machinery.
