Tho Chinese Consnl-Gencral, in an address at Wesley Church, in describing national developments in China, said she would take her place in the world's affairs and Would want to be treated as a free people. China had been forced to open her gates to other nations, ond protested against the exclusion of Chinese by ■other nations. This was going to bo a great question, and Australians would do well to consider it, .
