MURDERER EXECUTED.
PROTESTS INNOCENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Rec. June 10, 0.5 p.m.) Brisbane, June 10. The Cingalese, George Silva, was executed to-day for the murder near Mackay in November last of Agnes Ching (the white wife of a Chinese farmer) and her five children.
At tho trial Silva confessed that ho wins guilty, but he protested Ilia innocenco on the scaffold.
