"A HUNDRED YEARS AGO."
GREAT FANCY DRESS BALL. By Tcleirraph-Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. June 8, 0.5 a.m.) London, June 7. A brilliant "A Hundred Years Ago" ball in aid of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Help Society has been given in the Albert Hall. The hall was decorated to resemble the Brighton Pavilion in. the Regency times. A large party of members of the Royal Family was present. There were four thousand dancers, leading society women assisting in twenty-six quadrilles, including a reconstruction of tlio Duchess of Eichniond's famous quadrille.
