LIVE STOCK SALES.
Jfossrs.. Dalgety and .Co., Ltd., report having held their usual stock sale at Waipukurau yasterday, when they offered 10CO sheep to a moderate attendance of the public. Pat ewes; 14s. to 16s. lid.; fat wethers, 15s. 9d.;- lambs, Bs. 6d. to 9s. lid. Ewes in lamb, which were keenly competed for, sold at .about late rates; four ond fiveyear ewes in lamb made 155.: two, four, six, and eight-tooth owes in lamb made 16s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgsty -and ;Co.. report :—At our Jlarton sale yesterday there was a very fair- entry, but -the-demand was slack, owing to rough weather. Mixed-age ewes in lamb, to 10s. 7d.: store ewss. 7s. 5d.: small two-tooth ewes, 10s. 2d.; medium ewe lambs, to 10s.. lid.; empty cows, £3,155.; dairy cows, £7 to. £8 ss.
