In addition to these men, three criminals, sentenced in Adelaido to terms of imprisonment for having been illegally at large, but the warrants for whoso cpmmitment were withheld fer a week in order,to give them an opportunity to leave the State, also wont to Melbourne, where they were seen by the police. A Queensland criminal, shunted out of that State, also went to Melbourne, while another is on his way there. The arrival of these men naturally perturbed tho Victorian police authorities, who have been asked by the Premier, Mr. Watt, to furnish a .report. It is stated that an appeal to a High Court is contemplated.
