SOUTHLAND POTATOES.
DECREASE IN THE WYNDHAALCROP. Reports from Invcrcargitl state that representative farmers from the AVyndham district aro of opinion that the* potato, crop this year will not be half what it was last year. The early frosts have nipped the growth, though such plants as weathered the frost are likely to be of splendid finality. Owing to the extremely wet weather experienced recently, a difficulty is being experienced in getting the potatoes out of the ground, and potato digging is not being carried on so busily as is usual at this time of the year. Chio.k-rearing Is not only profitable, but a pleasure, when you feed "A and P" Chick-Raiser. It is complete and pro-perly-blended food for Young Chicks. Obtainable from all storekeepers.--Advt.
