MASTERTON NOTES.
(From Our Special Correspondent.) Masterlon, May 20. Owing lo several instrumentalists Slaving left the district, the .Masterlon Ore'liestra! Soeiely, which has rendered pleasing conceits during the last few winters, has been compelled to go into recess. Ploughing operations are now in full swing in the Wairarapa. Winter poisoning for rabbits has been commenced on East Coast stations. The Mayor is calling a meeting of those interested in recognising the services rendered the district'by Mr. A. - W. Hogg. The master butchers nf this (own intend holding a dinner at the Arcadia Tearooms to-iiiorrow evening.
