LICENSED VICTUALLERS' PROPOSAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Adelaide, May 28. The Licensed Victuallers' Conference adopted a resolution in favour of working for the abolition of the local option laws, and, in lieu thereof, the appointment of licensing boards to say where hotels should be. opened or closed. A suggestion by a Queensland delegate to levy 5.?. a hogshead on beer towards the funds for fighting their opponents met with a favourable reception.
