NATIONAL GALLERY.

LAST WEEK OF THE EXHIBITION. The public are notified that for the lust week of the exhibition, commencing to-day, the gallery will close at 5.30 each afternoon, instead of G p.m., and will r«o]i!>i( at 7.30 p.m., instead of 7 p.m. as at present. Miss Beatrice liichmoml is arranging a concert to be given in the Town lln.ll on Saturday evening nest, in aid of the funds of the National Art Gallery. Among those who will be taking part are Miss Mfiy Donaldson, Miss Gladys Watkms, Jfessrs. J. Mimghnu Barnctt, John Prouse, C. H." Stephens, and li 1 . H. Johnstons. His Excellency the Governor and his Worship the Mayor intend to bo present at the concert, and it is hoped that citizens also will respond to the effort beins; made by musicians on behalf of a sister !>rl.
