ST. JOHN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL.
9 The 53th' anniversary of St. John's Sunday School was celebrated yesterday at St. John's Church, Willis Street. Three services were held moniijig, afternoon, and evening. The morning service was for parents and Sunday school teachers, and special reference was made to the religious training of the young. The afternoon service was for the'children. - At the evening service, for young men and young women, the subject of the sermon was "The True Imperialism of the Soul." The church was crowded, and the choir, augmented by the children, was conducted by Mr. Hopkirk. Dr. Gibb conducted the three services. The collections amounted to JMG.
