BUTTER IN COLD STORES.
THE SUPPLY INCREASING. , ■ According to the latest figures available, there is moro butter in cool stores in New Zealand just now than has been the case at any time during the past four years. When the 6tocks were announced at the end of last month, it was shown that the supplies amounted to 51,832 boxes, and by May 15 this amount bad been increased by 5283 boxes. Tho. stocks in the various stores as at the middle of May were as under: — Boxes. Auckland 21,912 New Plymouth 12,238 Patea 3,462 Wellington 15,806 . Lyttelton 5,168 Dunedin 1,409 Total 60,115
