STAR BOATING CLUB.
The annual dinner of the Star Boating Club was held in the Hotel Windsor last evening, Mr. H. D. Bell (president) presiding. The president proposed the toast of the King, and Mr. A. D. Ba.vfield (captain) proposed the health of the president, and Mr. N. Galbraith tho New Zealand Rotting Association, which was responded to by Mr. Bayficld. "Tho Prizewinners" was proposed by Mr. C. Pearce, and responded to by the strokes of the winning crews. Other toasts honoured were "The Visitors," "Old Members," "The Ladies," and "Tho Press." During the opening musical items, grave and gay, were provided by Messrs. Geo. Parsons, D. Kenny, H. F. A. Wollerman, B. Gardiner, .7. E. Widdop, A. Cummings, and A. W. Newton. Occasion was also taken during the evening to present the prizes won during tho year.
