CITY FIRE.

« — The Fire Brigade- received a call about 11 o'clock last night to a six-roomed house at JX T o. 31 Dninimoud Street, owned by Mr. Chapman, of llawkestone Street, and tenanted by Mr. John Bnily. The contents were insured for ,£l2O m the Phoe-, nix office. Ono of the upstairs rooms was completely destroyed, and another upstair room was badly damaged. Iho ground floor was slightly affected. No 36, tho next house, also owned by Mr. Chapman, and tenanted by Mr. Henry Elderman, caught slightly at tho side, but was otherwise not damaged. Fortunately there was practically no wind to spread the flames.
