Mr. John Dillon, Nationalist M.P. for Mayo East, speaking at Darnsley, York shire, said ho was not over-sanguino regarding the position of Home Rule. It would bo a. long, severe fight before the Bill reached the Statute Book. Ireland, ho added, would not submit to Ulster's audacious ' ascendency claim. Mr. Asquith, Prime Minister, will speak at Dublin on July 18. Mr. John Redmond, Leader of the Nationalist party, will preside.
