"Bill the Bandit," one of the ringleaders in the recent motor outrages and the alleged murderer of the carter, Blanchet, returned to Nancy and fired shots through tho window of the room occupied by tho woman Bellot, who informed the police of the whereabouts of the gang. Tho man succeeded in escaping again on a bicycle. The murdered man Blanchet was courting Mademoisello Bellot, a young dressmaker, who lodged at the house of Renert, an Anarchist member of the gang of desperadoes concerned in tho Tecent outrages. The young woman gave information to the police resulting in the arrest of the gang. Heir lover Blanchet was blamed for this and was shot dead.
