Dolgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Waitanac sale, held yesterday, as follows--We had good yardmgs of both sheep and cattle, which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers at the following rates -.—Sheep: Fat wethers, 13 s. 9d. to 13s. lid.; two-tooth f.f.m. owes, to 123. 6d. Cattle: Three-year-old.steers, to £5 2s • springing heifers, to £6 65., % rippty cows. £5 is.; empty heifers, £4; cightcenmonths steers, to £4 Bs.; working £6 ss. to £7 55.; draught horses, to £26. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that nt their Marton sale yesterday they hal o, fair entry of sheep and cattle. Cull lambs mado from ss. to ss. Bd.; aged ewes In lamb, Bs. 4(1.; forward ewes 10s. 9d-; s.m. ewes, in lamb, 125.; light fat ewes, 12s. 9d.. small two-tooth wethers, 13s. 3d.; two-tooth wethers, 145.; backward dairy cows, £4 Zs. to £5 55.; springing heifers. £6 65.; empts cows, £3 Bs,; Jersey-cross heifers, £6 10s. 6d.; dairy cows, £7 2s. to £9 ss. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aecncy Co.. Ltd. (Palmerston North report a. successful sale at Himatnnsi on Monday. There was a good yardinpr of both sheap and cattle, all classes meet-ing yritli keen competition, resulting in a good clearance. Sheep: Lambs. 7s. sd. to op. Za., woolly lambs, 10s. Cd.; aged ewes, m lamb, 9c. 3d.; forward wethers, 14s. Cattle: Weanars (inferior), 19s. 6d. to 255.; weaner steers, 375. to £2 Is.: weaner Holstcin-cross heifer". £2 10s.; stove cows. 365. to £2 145.; forward cows. £3 16s. to £4 35.; fat cows, to £5; cows, in calf, £2 10s. to £4 12s. 6d.; good dairy cows, in calf. £5 to £7; backward heifers, in calf. £4 ss. to £4 10s.; forward heifers, in calf. £6 17s. 6d.; two-yc-ar steers, £4 55.: bulls, £3. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Acencv Co., Ltd., report - that, at- their Waikanae sale yesterday, they yarded a fair ontrv of sheep and a few pens oi Cattle. There was a laree attendance of buver« from the surrounding district, and Wellington butchers were also operating. The firm sold:-Fat and forward ewes, from lis. 6d. to 12s. 10d.; two ond fourtooth store wethers, to J3s. 9d.: two-tooth owes (off hills), at. 12s. 6(1.: fat bullocks, to £7 175.; dairy heifers, R.W.8., to £4 £s.; store cows, to £4 ss.
