DROUGHT IN N.S. WALES. GLOOMY OUTLOOK FOB FARMERS. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rcc. May 22, 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, May 21. The reports of drought in the Murray and Murrumbidgeo districts are alarming. There has been no rain in the Murray Valley sinco the New Yenr, and tho position is tho worst for a long period. Hand feeding has been extensively resorted to to keep stock alive. Olio owner spent over JC20.000 on feed, while others are sending their stock to more favoured districts. It is feared that if the winter is cold the result will be great mortality among tho emaciated animals, particularly breeding owes. The outlook for pastoralists is gloomy.
