CHAMBER OP COMMERCE PICTURE. Tha attendance at tlio exhibition of British pictures continues large, and the interest in the collcction appears to be as keen as ever. In order to encourage tho attendance of those who find it impossible to visit trie gallery during the forenoon and afternoon, it has.been decided to reduce tho prico of admission fos; the remainder of tlio season to sixpence between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tho pupils attending the Brooklyn, Roseucath, and Newtown l'rimary Schools, to tho number of several hundreds, visited tlio gallery yesterday morning. The Chamber oi' Commerce has purchased for presentation to tho National Gallery the fine painting by .Tames S. Hill, 'entitled "Tho Tower Bridge, London." This picture has been greatly favoured by visitors to the exhibition, and the Chamber of Commerce is entitled to rill' thanks of the community for securing it for the Dominion Gallery. A word of acknowledgment is also due to Mr. A. E. Mabin (chairman) and Mr. H. D. Vickery (secretary) of tho Chamber for the very active interest they have taken in this movement.
