LAUNCH OF THE KONGO.
« JAPANESE BATTLESHIP. EXPECTED TO STEAM 28 KNOTS; By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (Rec. May 20, 11.45 p.m.) London, May 20. The Kongo, a Japanese cruiser-battle-ship, has been launched at Barrow. She is a vessel of 27,500 tons and 70,000 horsepower, and carries 14-inch guns. She is expected to develop a speed of 28 knots.
