NEW MILITARY REGULATIONS.
LIQUOR, LANGUAGE, AND SMOKE. By Tel«Eraph-Prdßß Aiaociatlon—CoDTrlekt Melbourne, May 17. Now military regulations provide that liquor ordered by a medical authority to be issued to troops in bad weatlier or on special occasions must be consumed in the presence of officers. . No one refusing to consume such liquor shall bo subjected to ridieulo. No liquor rpay be supplied to thoso under years of ago, whose parents have notified that they object. Ordinarily, in cases of severe weather or excessive fatigue, an extra supply of coffee, tea, or cocoa, shall be given instead of liquor. The use of bad or immoral language and cigarette smoking aro strictly prohibited. The regulations shall apply whenever (ho troops are wearing uniforms.
