Shorthorn, has never giyen,'a'higher weekly record than 2711b., of .milk, and yet-by, ApriL 27 she had' ; given, over 10,0001b. of milk, with a ■tper' cent.- test. -The cow that gave the 'best ,weekJy.",record. among .the .Shorthorns —Penrose, a.well-bred roan—ls2lb., of 3.8 ;milk,'promises to give..a.lower return for "fflo season than Adelaide. :
