EXPORTS OF STOCK
'APRIL A LIGHT, MONTH.
The return of the stock exported from Now Zealand during April indicates .that very little business was (lone in this direction. In all, 75 horses were sent to Australia, ami 16 to the. Pacific Islands; 1.1 head of cattle, 121 sheep and 12 swine were also sent to the Pacific'lslands. With the exception of six horses from Ucllington,' 24 from Lyttelton, and t from Dune'din, the'whole of the above shipments were made from Auckland. Particulars of the horses shipped are: 63 draughts (8 stallions, 16 mares, 27 geldings, 1 colt, 11 fillies), 0 thoroughbreds (1 stallion 2 mares, 3 geldings, 1 colt, 2 filly foals), 2 ;hackneys (1 mare, 1 gelding), lb hght horses (13 mares, 1 gelding), 1 . trotting gelding.
