Addressing an agricultural conference recently, the Tastnn-ninn Chief Inspector of Stock. Mr. T. A. Tabnrt, emplinsised the importance of groiving iino merino wools , , which were becoming senrcer and denrer. In the opinion nf If-ading buyers he said, it wn? believed that fine wool, which w:ib now worth Lid. to Kid. per lb., would very soon rise Io --. per lb., as the. demand was increasing and the supply diminishing.
