SPEECH BY MR. BONAR LAW. 1 By Telegraph—Pmsa Association-Oonyright. (Rec. May 13, 0.30 a.m.) London, May 12. Mr. Bonnr Law, Leader of tho Opposition, speaking at the Primrose League ■ demonstration in the Albert Hall, said he ,- was confident that Mr. Lloyd-George, ' Chancellor of the Exchequer, would get ! some good election use from his six million surplus. Instead of the Imperial Government '. looking after the interests of the Empire, they went out of their way to help in making Canada an adjunct of the United States. Happily, the true instincts of the Canadians had warded off that calamity. Victory in the present war of armaments rested with the longest purse, and Britain's hope lay in uniting with the inexhaustible resources of the sister nai tions overseas.
