(From Onr Special Correspondent.) fr~— - Yesterday mbrnirig Mr. H. Baldwin of the Lower Hutt District High School) waited upon the Traffic Manager, with regard to some trouble experienced by high school pupils from TJp'.per Hutt. Mr. Baldwin pointed out that tho scholars travelled by the goods train timed to leave Lower Hntt at 3.20, but on Thursday night tho. train did no( start till 4 o'clock and some of fho pupil;) were left at Silverstream and did not reach Upper-Hntt till' 6 o'clock. The manager Btated ..that he would inquire into tho matter. .... At the Petone Police Court yesterday, 'Augustus Emanuel Norling was fined ss. in default 24 hours' imprisonment'on a charge of drunkenness. , Mr, K. Jfotlies «ras the presiding justice:
