TOM MANN SENTENCED.

Tom Mann, the ■ Socialist, was found guilty of publishing seditious matter during the recent coal strike, and sentenced to six months' imprisonment in the second division. NEWSPAPER OPINIONS. (Rec. May 10, 10.30 p.m.) London, May 10. The "Daily News," "Morning Leader," and "Chronicle" regret tho prosecution of Tom Mann, as it was unnecessary and unfortunate. They argno that it was permissible for him to address the soldiers in their capacity as citizens.
