The engine turned turtle and 101 l thirty feet into the crock below. The driver, It. E. Turpin, aged 40, a married man with five children, a resident of Port Ahuriri, was killed instantly. His mate, Laurence Williams, of I?issiiigton, fell into the water beneath (lie engine, and remained there until the steam cleared.
