Wedding at St. Mark's. A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday afternoon at St. Marks Church, when Mr. Geo. S. Warwick, late of the South British Insurance Company s local office, and now of Dunedin, was married to Miss Beatrice Ferguson, httli daughter of Mr. William Ferguson, lulbirnic. The bride was attended by Hisses Letti© and Emily Ferguson and Miss Elsie Warwick, sister of the bridegroom, ami the bridegroom by Mr. L. W. Cozens as best mau and Mr. J. Ferguson and Mr. Bert Warwick as groomsmen. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in white duchess satin trimmed with point lace, and the usual veil and orange blossom. The bridesmaids wore charming grey satin charmeuse dresses with overdresses of ninon, and grey velvet hats trimmed with ermine, and carried bouquets of autumn foliage and pink Mrs. Ferguson, mother of the bride, wore black crepe do chine and grey toque. Mrs. Warwick, the bridegroom s mother, was in black satin chnrmeuso with a cream fringed toque. The bridegroom presented to the brido a set 'of fox furs, and the bride's present to the bridegroom was a gold albert. After the ceremony a very enjoyable reception was held at the Hotel Windsor, when the guests were entertained by the bride's parents. The usual toasts were drunk with enthusiasm, and songs were sung by Mrs. Henderson and Mr. Holli*. Mr. and Mrs. Warwick left on the same night for a tour to the Kamner Springs, en route to their homo in Dunedin. A Fei!ding Wedding. At the Presbyterian Church, Feilding (writes the Feilding correspondent of TuEDosiistos), the marriage took place on Wednesday of Mr. E. C Wallis, son of Mr. Wallis, of Cambridge, to Miss Ethel Weigh tman, youngest daughter of Mr. Joseph Weightman, of Awnhun Road, Feilding. The parents of both brido and bridegroom were- among tlio first settlers of the Feildinsr district, having landed there in 1871. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of cream satin trimmed with silk insertion and tucked net. Nurse Bryant, who has been on the staff of the Waipukuraii District Hospital for about four years, leaves this week for her homo in the Wellington district, and then proceeds to England by tho s.s. Corinthic, which leaves Wellington ,on the 16th. Miss Dorothy Wndrty intends leaving for Blenheim to-daj. Miss Moss (Auckland) is staying with Miss Macaudrew, on the Terrace. Mrs Woods, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Hodgkins, in Masterton, arrived in Wellington yesterday, and intends returning to Blenheim to-day. Mrs. Hodgkins accompanied her to Wellington.
