CAUSING GRAVE APPREHENSION J THE PRICE OF BREAD IS RISING. By Toleerapfc-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. May 9, 9.55 p.m.) London, May 9. Renter's Paris ■■ correspondent reports that the present stock of wheat in Franco is forty-four million kilogrammes, instead of the normal several hundred millions. The price of bread is rising and causing grave .apprehension. Large orders for grain have- been placed with Canada, Argentine, and Australia. Tho Government has decided that if cannot suspend the tariff of- seven francs per hundred kilogrammes although it may prolong for two or three months tho period wherein wheat may be imported free, on condition that an equivalent in weight is exported from France, from France.
