BURGLARS' DISAPPOINTING- HAUL. (By Telegraiirr-l'ress Association.) Auckland, Mny 8. Burglars entered premises in Mechanics' Bay oji Monday night, and broke open ft safe with dynamite. They carried the safe into the back of tlie building. It is evident that the burglars enveloped the snfe in some modelling clay, which they found on the premises, their object being to (leaden the noise of the explosion. The remains of four fuses were found near, and it would seem that the burglurs worked with gloved hands. The noiso of the explosion would not be taken much notice of, as the work on a sewer in the vicinity has required a lot of blasting. The total value of their haul from the safe was about =CS.
