The monthly meeting of the District Nursing- Guild of St. John v;ns held on Monday afternoon. Mrs. S. A. Rhodes, Lady of Grace of the Order of St. John, presided. The following members of committee were also present:—Mcsdames S. D. Tripe, K. Balcombe-Brown, N. H. Sefton Mocrhouse, A. A. Corrigan, H. W. Preston, J. P. Luke, Miss M. E, Robieson, and Mrs. IV. B. Fisher (hoa. secretary). The president, who has been absent on an extended visit to England, was welcomed back. The senior district nurse submitted the report for tho month of April, which showed that 797 visits to - siek poor hod beon paid, three patients had been attended to at. the office daily and one twice doily. Three patients had been sent to the general hospital, and one to tiie Ohiro Home. Tho total number of patients who had received attention during the month numbered 30.
