HEMP AND TOW GRADED.

A return issued bv the Fields and Experimental Farms' Division, showing tho quantitv of hemp and tow graded during the'past month affords the following information.— •• ' ■ Hemp.—The total, number of tales graded was 0169, as compared with Gl7B bales for the corresponding month of last year, an incrrase of 26i*l bales. For the 'l 2 months ending April 30, 1912, the number of bales graded was 88,375, as compared with 103,478 for . the previous 12 months, the decrease being 17,103 bales. Tow.—During the month 2171 bales were dealt with as compared with 1590 lor tho corresponding month of last year an increase of Sat bales.
