A QUESTION FOR THE PRIME MINISTER.
Sir,—Speaking nt Auckland on lilto. the Premier is reported as stating "that at tlio present time we arc obtaining from Government investment a sum of money in excess of all we require to pay in interest on all our borrowed money iu this country and abroad, and in addition wo are carrying on the development of the Dominion." It would be of ink-rest to know liow this is made up. Perhaps the lion, gentleman will supply details in his next speech.—l am, etc., ARGUS.
