ST. MICHAEL'S, KELBURNE.
Sir, —In your report of the proceedings at the annual meeting of the parishioners of the above church, it would seem that I am the only grumbler; and that the motions that 1 made were not seconded. Quite true; but I only wish to point out that I was the only person ontsido the members of the. committee present, excepting .two ladies; and I did hot expect to get' a seconder from any of the members of the committee. But I might say hero in passing that I know that there arc other grumblers in the district at.the novel methods employed to build up a church and congregation iu this district. There is another matter I should like to supplement your report Kith, and it is this: That I took exception to the way the annual report and balance-sheet was brought in. In former years there was n copy for each one attending, but this year it. was simply Tead oyer fo the meeting. This, to my mind, is a very unbusinesslike way of managing a church's affairs, which would not bo tolerated in any branch of business.—l am, etc.. ' I'HOS. 51. 51ILLIGAX. May 2.
