At Hie Titanic inquiry Jewell, the lookout, testified that ho received a telephone message from the bridge at 9.30 on Sunday night, instructing him to keep a sharp watch for ice. He repeated the order to tho relieving watch, Searrott A seaman slated that it was difficult for the third-class passengers to reach the boat-deck, as two ladders were the only means of approach.
